Earlier this week, the Staunton Parks and Rec began installing a fence along the steep bank where hole 10's basket had been at the Kiwanis Course. The fence is related to the "natural playground" that they are building in the general vicinity of hole 10 and the woods to the left of the fairway. Rene has been communicating with Parks and Rec throughout the planning to make sure the flow of the course stays intact. The fence that is being installed will have a gate located near the safety path so that disc golfers can still get to hole 11.
The club is currently discussing options as to where to add a hole to make up for the one being lost. A few options include:
